Kanin was founded by Tom Kurz, drawing on years of experience in consumer brands and performance supplements. Learn more about Tom and the story behind Kanin on our About Us page.

Tom set on this journey with the goal of bringing to market a healthy and better performing energy drink to the masses. Being an energy drink consumer and fan, he would regularly consume Redbull and other energy drinks before sporting activities, business meetings, or going out at night. And while he loved them, he also knew that consuming these beverages on a regular basis was not good for him. With that, he saw a huge opportunity to create an energy boosting drink that could deliver a steadier, jitter-free boost, all while being body positive. So, the opportunity was a lack of healthy energy and cognition boosting beverages in the marketplace, and the goal/mission was to deliver innovation in this marketplace and bring to the masses a smarter and more effective way to boost performance through enhanced energy and cognition. Simply said, Kanin is a smarter, better performing alternative to readily available energy drinks

Unlike a typical energy drink that primarily delivers a quick burst of energy, Kanin is a premium multi-functional performance shot that provides steady energy while also supporting mental clarity, focus, power output, and recovery from physically demanding activities for upto 2 to 5 hours.
